SEJARAH

The Management Study Program was established on May 6, 1999, in accordance with Higher Education Decree number 202/DIKTI/Kep/1999, which is administered by the Department of Management. Yogyakarta State University's Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences (FISE). With the ratification of the Organization and Work Procedures (OTK) of UNY by the Minister of National Education on June 22, 2011, the existence of the Management Study Program is under the Faculty of Economics.

The Management Study Program's vision is based on the goals of national education as stated in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, Chapter II, Article 3, which states that national education functions to develop capabilities and shape the character and civilization of a dignified nation in the context of educating people. the nation's life, aspires to develop students' potential to become human beings who believe and respect God Almighty, have noble character, are healthy, informed, capable, creative, independent, and democratic and responsible citizens. Furthermore, the preparation of the vision refers to the vision of the institution and faculty while taking into account the situation and conditions.

Management Study Program Vision

In 2025, Management Study Program envisions: Become an Excellent, Creative, and Innovative Management study program based on the values ​​of piety and entrepreneurial spirit in accordance with Global demands

 

The Management Study Program Mission

The Management Study Program's existence is emphasized in the study program's mission, which is as follows:

  1. Organizing a quality learning process according to the demands of Education 5.0 and Penta-Helix Higher Education to prepare Superior, Creative, and Innovative graduates who have the values ​​of piety, entrepreneurial spirit, and intellectuality.
  2. Develop research and publications of scientific papers for lecturers and students who can make theoretical, empirical, and practical contributions in the field of management and business science according to the demands of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, Society 5.0, and Education 5.0 as well as the Penta-Helix of Higher Education.
  3. Organizing community service to practice management and business knowledge and skills according to the demands of Society 5.0, Education 5.0 and Penta-Helix Higher Education.
  4. Organizing good and clean governance of study programs according to the demands of the educational revolution 5.0 and Industrial revolution 4.0 as well as collaborating with business institutions, government, academic institutions, social entrepreneurs, and the community at national and international levels to support increased learning, research, and publications scientific knowledge, as well as community service in the field of management.

 

The Management Study Program Objectives

The Management Study Program at FE UNY offers various objectives that align with the program's mission, including the following:

  1. Produce Superior, Creative, and Innovative graduates who have the values ​​of piety, entrepreneurial spirit, and intelligence in the fields of management and business science according to the demands of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, Society 5.0, and Education 5.0
  2. Produce research outputs that can provide theoretical, empirical, and practical contributions in the field of management and business science according to the demands of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, Society 5.0, and Education 5.0 as well as the Penta-Helix of Higher Education.
  3. Produce scientific publications in national and international journals in the field of management and business science
  4. Improving the welfare of the community using technology and research results in community service activities with the values ​​of piety, entrepreneurial and intellectual spirit
  5. Increase stakeholder satisfaction through the implementation of good and clean study program governance, and cooperation at national and international levels to improve the quality of learning, research, and publications, as well as community service in the field of management.
